The Enrichment Fund allows the community to enrich the lives of foster children. Children in foster care often cannot afford to participate in activities that so many other children take for granted. Lessons, camps, prom expenses, and educational school trips are not always available to our foster children due to financial constraints.
Advokids accepts requests from caretakers, social workers, CASA volunteers and children’s attorneys.
All requests are carefully screened and all donations dispersed directly to the provider. With your help, Advokids will provide for the needs of foster children that would otherwise go unmet. |

Maria and Alex are adolescent sisters who recently became dependents of the Juvenile Court. Their mother died tragically when they were young, and they have been living with their father in a homeless shelter for the past 18 months. Their life in the Tenderloin homeless shelter is noisy and stressful. They both love horses and the outdoors! With your help, we can send the girls to the Santa Cruz mountains for 2 weeks of nurturing, emotional support and counseling. The cost of the camp is $1500 per child. Any donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated. |
